Boston is the best little boy...we could not ask for a better baby. He has decided lately that he prefers to take a bottle rather than feed from 'Mommy's Milk Factory.' So Angie has been pumping frivolously to keep the supply coming. He grunts non-stop, eating or not eating, it remains the same. Boston went to the doctor last week for his first round of shots and did pretty good. He weighed 12 lbs 7 oz. and is 24 inches long. As you can see, he is rapidly growing. He is starting to smile more and continues to be a blessing in our lives.
Below we have posted a few pics...A naked shot, his blessing day, and some random cute pics of our little stud. Enjoy!

Boston Chad Ivie
Boston Chad Ivie was born on Sunday, July 19, 2009 at 4:05 am. He weighed 6 lbs 11 oz and measured 21.5 inches long. He was blessed with a full head of hair...and believe me, it is enough for both he and his daddy. He is a beautiful boy. Angie and I could not be happier parents.
Now that I have had a few days to look back on all that has transpired since Boston's birth, I wonder why we waited so long to bring something this perfect into our lives. I am a very proud and grateful dad right now...Proud of my good wife and all of the sacrifices that she went through to bring this little guy here. She is a wonderful, patient mother. Already exceeding my expectations.
Boston is picking up the feeding. He is finally gaining a little weight. We will be sure to keep everyone posted and any new happenings.

Pregnancy Update
Angie is still doing well. Nothing much to report. We went to the doctor last week and according to the few tests, Angie is a bit ahead of schedule. She measured 38 cm and doc said she was dialated to a 2 already. Doc said all everything was starting to take its proper course and projected a week to 10 day early arrival of our little boy. For those of you wanting to see the adorable belly...take a look, it is definitely that. I have never seen a better looking pregnant girl...ever! We are anxious to see what happens. Tomorrow is another appointment, so we should have another update in a few days.

Sunday Neglect
Awwww...(yawning)I woke up just like any summer Sunday morning to the constant sound of the air conditioner window unit blowing while intermingled with birds chirping just outside our bedroom window. I rolled over like I do every morning to check on my beautiful wife and her pregnant belly...and they were both gone. I got up, shut off the air conditioner and just listened to see if I heard anything. It was quiet. Usually if Angie beats me up...she will come in and make noise till I get up...I don't know if she does this on purpose...but she does it all the time. Today was different though. Not a peep. Not a screechy medicine cabinet drawer opening. No sounds of a pregnant woman relieving herself with a pee stop. No flushing of the toilet. No fumbling through the closet. Nothing. So I quietly walked out of my room not know what I would see.......and BAMMM! I forgot it was Sunday, and I forgot it was couponing day. This is what I found. Needless to say...for me it is going to be a day of rest...for Angie on the other hand, it will be a day of cutting out coupons. This woman has a will that I have never seen before. Maybe I should be a good loving husband and help her out. My guilty conscience will prolly overtake my lazy sunday-self and grab the other pair of scissors and cut away. It is either that or feel neglected the rest of the day. Oooooh...too bad the red sox aren't playing today. That would be the excuse that I am busy for a few hours!

Working out of town
For all of you wondering where I spent my winter days...well, take a looksie for yourself. It was a fun challenge. The outter fireplace was 40 ft high by 7 ft wide. The base of the cabin had stone going all the way around the bottom. I forgot to take pics of the island and the interior fireplace that also has stone...but you get the idea. There was over 1300 hundred sq. ft of stone. I guess this answers why I have to go to the chiropractor 2-3 times a week for the next month or so.

Recent Pics
These are just a few recent pics of me and Chad. I am now 28 weeks along and am still feeling really good. I'm very happy to be in the third trimester now! Nothing too new is happening with us--we are both keeping very busy with work. I only have two and a half weeks left of school--I am looking forward to the break and having more time to spend working on the baby's room and other projects around the house!

Gender Revealed
Well, to all of those who thought baby would be a girl...sorry. It's a boy! The ultra sound confirmed that very thing this morning. The little man was not so cooperative, but we got some good looks at the flexible boy. Needless to say, we are very excited and can't wait to start picking out boy clothes and getting our home ready for a little chadwick. As you can see...the ultra sound pic is terrible. We have a printed one on the little guy showing off his manhood piece. In this pic, the ultra sound tech placed an arrow pointing to his Oscar Meyer Weiner.

Holiday Season
Angie and I are enjoying a good holiday season. We spent the week prior to Christmas(as well as Christmas) at home this year. This was the first time we didnt have to travel anywhere for Christmas since we have been married. It was rather relaxing. Angie's parents came and spent Christmas with us. My sister Lacey also came over Christmas day and spent most of it with us. We had a good time. We mostly played games and ate good food. Nothing wrong with that for holiday cheer.
After Christmas we went to Eastern Idaho to visit my family for a few days. We spent the weekend in Arco. I havent seen snow like that for many years. Well over 2 feet of snow. From there we spent a couple of dsys in Hamer with Cory and Julie and kids. It was good to see them and spend time with the little ones. From there we drove to Pocatello to see Mandy and Rocky. Angie got her hair did...It is like getting a new girlfriend everytime she gets a new do...so I dont mind. lol! We had fun. We came home new years eve to warmer weather and no snow. We traveled the long loop to see everyone and we're glad we did. We are excited to start a new year and look forward to see what this new year brings. I had a motto for 08' that didnt turn out like I expected so I will not try and jinx myself this year.
